EPDM rubber is resistant to most inorganic acids and alkalis,
and some organic chemicals (acetone, alcohol, ketones). Suitable for use in water, direct ground burial and atomspheric conditions.

Nitrile rubber is resistant to oils, fuel and many solvents (gasoline, motor oil, kerosene, methane, jet fuel, hydraulic fluid, water, etc.). While
resistant to normal atmospheric conditions, Nitirle is not U.V. resistant.

The Low Durometer Model "L" is excellent for use with thin wall metal pipe, applications using plastic, ceramic or glass pipe - or applications
where the cylindrical object is fragile and may not withstand the compressing forces generated by a standard Link-Seal® Modular Seal.

New Universal Pressure Plate Design
Link-Seal® Modular Seals are now
available with new "force dispersion" pressure plates that
are desigend to more evenly spread the tensional forces created when torquing the central bolt against both pressure plate and
rubber seal. In addition, the new design has an average of 15% more strength than previous Link-Seal® Modular Seal versions.
The Universal Pressure Plate design spans the entire line of Link-Seal® Modular Seals.

Link-Seal® Modular Seals are now standardized with metric hardware.
To provide consistency and worldwide compatibility, PSI now offers all Link-Seal® Modular Seal sizes with metric bolts. The new bolts
adhere to metric specifications as used by most all countries outside the U.S.A. Smaller Link-Seal® Modular Seals
(sizes LS-200, LS-275,
LS-300, and LS-315) will consist of metric Allen head or socket cap bolt heads while the balance of the line will use standard hex head metric bolts.
